I’m thrilled to share my journey with you. Growing up in Jamaica, I discovered my love for arts and crafts at an early age. This passion blossomed into a deep desire to create standout brand identities that reflect the stories and hard work of food entrepreneurs like you.
My journey in graphic design truly began in 2022, thanks to my sister, who introduced me to this vibrant field. I was inspired by the work of creators like Abi Connick, whose videos ignited my passion for brand design. After creating my first brand identity for a female food business, I realized I had found my calling. I wanted to bring happiness to the world through food and extend that joy by crafting brand identities that speak to both luxury and impact.
However, the path wasn’t always smooth. I faced numerous rejections and ghosting when applying for jobs, which led me to take on contract work creating social media designs. While I gained valuable experience, I soon realized that the tight timelines and lack of creative freedom were not what I envisioned for my career. This realization sparked a desire in me to build my own business—one that would empower food entrepreneurs who, like me, sometimes feel stuck in their journey.
With determination, I took the plunge and established DBT Studios. Through consistent effort and engaging content, I began connecting with fellow food business owners who were eager to elevate their branding and showcase their passion.
